Guiding You Through the Insurance Claims Process
- We will contact you regarding your vehicle when we have been notified by the insurance to repair it.
- If your vehicle is drivable, we will ask that you visit our site for a brief 15-minute inspection, where our estimators will inspect your vehicle for damage.
- If your vehicle is too badly damaged and deemed unroadworthy, recovery will be arranged to bring your vehicle to our site as soon as possible so we can begin the process.
- If the damage is severe and we suspect there may be suspension damage, your vehicle will be subject to further checks that we will carry out to make sure we have captured as much as possible to complete the repair.
- Once we have estimated your vehicle, we will send the estimate off to the insurers who will review our estimate.
When the insurers are happy with the repairs we will carry out, we will contact you regarding a booking in date and order your parts when this has been arranged.
If we already have your vehicle, we will order the parts and begin the work when the parts have arrived!
We will begin repairs on the vehicle as soon as possible, however the estimated complete date (ECD) may be subject to change. This typically arises when we discover further damage that is not possible to see when we are estimating the vehicle, or that a part has broken during the process that we have to order. We will always try our best to do this as little as possible.
When repairs have been completed, we will contact you regarding collecting your vehicle. If you have been in a hire vehicle supplied by your insurance, you are free to leave this vehicle with us when you collect!
